In the meantime, Volkswagen SA released the pricing and specification for this all-new model. The line-up will include three derivatives, two being powered by the familiar 2.0-litre TDI motor which produces 130kW/350Nm and is mated to a six-speed DSG gearbox. The flagship model gets the 206kW/350Nm motor,seven-speed DSG transmission and 4Motion all-wheel drive from the popular Golf R model.

All Arteon models come standard with a five-year/90 000km Maintenance Plan and a three-year/120 000 warranty.
