In many ways resembling the outgoing Polo Cross model, the Maxx gets a variety of interior and exterior changes to help differentiate itself from the rest of the Vivo line-up.
In terms of exterior alterations, the Maxx gets a raised suspension, some 15mm to be exact while also benefitting from 17-inch alloy wheels, aluminium mirror caps and roof rails a chrome-tipped single-exit exhaust system and of course, 'Maxx' badging.
Inside, the Maxx gets coloured centre console trim, front electric windows, manual air-conditioner, three-spoke leather multi-funtion steering wheel with aluminium insert, colour touch radio with SD/USB/Bluetooth/App Connect and six-speakers.
As for safety, the Maxx comes standard with driver and front passenger airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Tyre Pressure Monitor, ISOFIX child seat mounting points, front fog lights and central locking.
Under the bonnet is the tried and tested 1.6-litre MPI naturally aspirated engine which produces 77kW and is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox.
The Vivo Maxx comes standard with three-year/120 000km warranty while a service plan is optional.
