The few remaining models are going for R92 990. This little workhorse comes with a load box of 2m by 1.3m, 13-inch wheels and a payload of 600kg. This makes it a half-ton unit.
“The Loadhopper packs a heavy punch when it comes to work load,” said Devon Nassif, Sales and Dealer Development Manager of the Dacar Motor Corporation, importers and distributors of Geely passenger and DFSK light commercial vehicles.
The 1.3-litre single cab offers an added financial advantage – the price includes VAT, which can be claimed back from Sars at a rate of 14 percent if used for business purposes. “This means, in essence, the Loadhopper 1.3 costs a mere R81 570,” concluded Nassif.
As far as performance is concerned, the Loadhopper averages a fuel consumption of only 8.2 litres/100km.
The Loadhopper comes with a 12-month/60 000km warranty.
