Sporting a shooting brake styled look, the Instinct Concept boast a number of technological first aimed at improving driving or, in the words of Peugeot, the freedom to choose your ideal driving mode, movement and level of in-car connection.
To this end, the Instinct retains the now familiar i-Cockpit layout, but with a futuristic minimalist touch and a unique system platform dubbed Internet of Things. Developed in-conjunction with Samsung's Artik Cloud, I.o.T, links with the driver's smartphone and learns about their preferences and lifestyle before altering driving modes, seat settings, audio system and ambient lighting.
In addition, the system can alter its behaviour depending on the driver's mood, read data from their smartwatch and configure the navigation system to the driver's everyday diary. Boasting two active drive modes (Drive Boost of Drive Relax) or two self-driving settings (Autonomous Sharp or Autonomous Soft), the Instinct comes powered by a plug-up hybrid drivetrain developing 221 kW.
