The exterior features a special paint that is supposed to simulate the fluidity and purity of metal. It does so by using ultra-fine aluminium pigments and a gloss-black primer that ‘amplifies the brilliance of the aluminium pigments and creates a sensation of depth,’ according to Maserati.
The interior is meant to mimic the latest in men’s fashion. Maserati has gone for warm hues like moka and greige, which Google tells us are two different shades of brown. Most of the interior is finished in soft leather and a velvet-like bright fabric.
The Ermenegildo Zegna Limited Edition Quattroporte is set for a limited production run in 2014.
