Slightly adjusted from the estimations of the Automobile Association (AA) last month, the Department has confirmed that the price of petrol would decrease by 30 cents a litre, diesel by 17 cents and illuminated paraffin by 19 cents. The stronger rand despite increasing international oil prices have been attributed to the latest fuel price drop. A short while ago (10:45) the national currency was trading at R12.06 to the US Dollar with Brent Crude Oil at $68.03 a barrel.
