As with the previous leaks, the new more detailed snaps published over the weekend sees the Prado adopting more a sleeker appearance than the current model, thanks to a completely revised front facia featuring styling hints from the Land Cruiser 200.
The biggest change continues to be the interior where a brand new integrated infotainment display tops the centre facia, along with redesigned HVAC switches, new steering wheel and a different instrument cluster.
Engine options are still unknown although international models are likely to pack a 2.7-litre four-cylinder petrol, the familiar 4.0-litre V6 and same 2.8-litre GD-6 used in the Hilux and Fortuner, while transmission options will include a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic.
Toyota has so far remained mum on confirming the authenticity of images, despite an earlier report by Indian Autos Blog suggesting it might unveil the Prado on September 12th.
