GEORGE MOTORING NEWS - Halfway Toyota and Lexus George stole the show at the recent Toyota and Lexus dealer awards held at Kyalami, Gauteng. All the dealers in the country participate in this annual event and Halfway Toyota George walked away with a bunch of awards.
Halfway Toyota Automark was awarded an award for achieving the highest level of proficiency in sales. The same award was awarded to new sales.
The vice-president's award: Environmental was awarded to the workshop manager, Frans de Winnaar. This award is presented to the Toyota dealer in the country that achieves all Toyota's eco standards - and Halfway Toyota and Lexus George achieved 100%. De Winnaar and his wife Christell will make use of the winner's prize, a trip to Valletta, Malta, in June.
Halfway Lexus George also won a trip to Russia as the best customer service dealer in the country. This relates to being the top customer / Lexus dealer in the country. Mark Jones, dealer principal at Halfway and Lexus Toyota George, and his wife Anthea will be travelling to Russia in June.
He attributes their success to the 55 loyal and hardworking people who work on their staff.
