Based on the extended wheelbase Ghost shown in Shanghai six years ago, the Elegance features a special paint finish made from mixing the actual paint with 1 000 crushed diamonds to which an extra layer of lacquer is applied for smoothness.
Dubbed Diamond Stardust, the final finish reportedly took around two months to perfect, with the crushed stones even being examined underneath a microscope to monitor their interaction with light. A special two-tone hand painted red and black coachline, 21-inch wheels and an illuminated Spirit of Ecstasy complete the exterior touches.
Inside, the interior gains a black leather finish in the front and grey in the rear with matching red trim, colour matching tartan-lined door pockets and Tudor Oak veneer.
Aside from the Ghost, other models will consist of the Dawn Inspired Fashion and the Wraith Black Badge, the latter, as its name suggests, finished completely in black with a redesigned air suspension, new drive shafts, different ratios for eight-speed automatic gearbox and a 70 N.m torque upgrade for a total output of 465 kW and 870 N.m.
