If someone deserves a golden star it has to be the guy who decided to come up with this bakkie because we here at Autodealer love it and we are going to give you four reasons why:
1. The Duster is already a low-cost, budget SUV that is growing in popularity. It’s easy to maintain and reliable. One of its key markets is the South American market, which is very similar to ours in terms of road conditions and urban set up.
2. From what we can gather, the Oroch offers impeccable accessibility thanks to the four doors, generous internal space due to five proper seats, a generous bed and the proven robustness and reliability of Renault Duster.
3. In Argentina, the Duster Oroch will be available with 1.6-litre and 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engines, and will also feature the brand's new Media NAV Evolution infotainment system with navigation and a seven-inch touchscreen.
4. It has the potential to dominate a new segment. It’s not as big and expensive as a Toyota Hilux or Ford Ranger, yet offers similar practicality and capability. On the other hand, it will prove to be a more sensible buy over half-ton vehicles such as the Nissan NP200 and Chevy Ute.
We really hope the Duster Oroch will arrive on our shores, because we give it a big, yay! We will also be sure to keep you updated if it does arrive.
