GEORGE NEWS - Thembalethu came alive this Youth Day, Monday 16 June, as Andie and Friends, a community youth group, took to the streets in a vibrant parade from the local police station to Thembalethu Square.
Founded by Andise Musetsho, the group aims to uplift and empower teenagers by keeping them off the streets and engaged in positive activities.
“I’m so happy and proud,” said Musetsho. “This is something unique for Thembalethu. To the parents – let’s support our children.”
This year marks the group’s third anniversary, and their performance and unity continue to inspire hope and pride in the community.
