GEORGE NEWS - A group of young, dynamic philanthropists aged 12 and under, the George Cubs, are making their mark in the community and a difference to the lives of animals.
Led by the initiative of seven-year-old Karla Barnard, these spirited youngsters recently gathered with friends to collect food for the animals at the People's Dispensary for Sick Animals (PDSA) in George.
With their first meeting already a success, these Cubs are blazing a trail of compassion and action, promising more inspiring projects ahead for both the community and its beloved animals.
Watch out, George – the Cubs are here to make a difference!
