GEORGE NEWS - The bodies of a young couple were found in a house in Aandblom Street, Bergsig, this morning Friday, 10 July.
According to Southern Cape police spokesperson, sgt Chris Spies, the circumstances surrounding the death of the man, believed to be in his 30s, and the woman, believed to be in her late 20s, are still under investigation.
“Preliminary investigation reveals that one of the woman’s colleagues visited the residence this morning at approximately 09:00 after the woman did not report for duty. She discovered the bodies and alerted emergency services,” he said.
Police found the bodies of the deceased in the bedroom. Both sustained gunshot wounds and a firearm was found on scene.
