GEORGE NEWS - Pacaltsdorp police opened an inquest docket after a woman, Aileen Ross (39), died in a house fire in New Dawn Park on Tuesday 7 May at about 23:00.
According to Southern Cape police spokesperson Sgt Chris Spies, reports at their disposal indicate that emergency personnel responded to the scene.
Upon arrival, police found the body of a victim who had been inside the structure when it caught fire.
The cause of the fire is yet to be established and police combed the scene for clues.
