GARDEN ROUTE | KAROO NEWS - A woman from Delville Park went missing on Thursday 17 March and is yet to be found.
Jo-Anne Lourens (57) left her daughter's house on the R404 farm road in Geelhoutboom around noon on Thursday, and headed towards the airport intersection.
Jessica Hapgood-Strickland, her daughter, was sleeping at the time.
"I was very tired because I looked after my mom the night before. I fetched her from Voëlklip on Wednesday evening and had her stay with me. She went home, to her husband in Delville Park earlier Thursday morning. She came back and left her handbag with all her personal belongings, including bank cards and ID, on my table. My husband saw her driving off in the direction of the airport. She was driving a white Chevrolet Aveo 2006 model. The car has a CAW numberplate with a holographic dragonfly sticker and navy blue cross that says 'Jesus se karretjie' on the back. She only has half a tank of fuel.
"A case has been opened with the George Police, but we are still waiting for a case number. Any help to find my mom is welcome at this stage." Contact Jessica at 060 349 9881.
