GEORGE NEWS - A 24-year-old woman is in police custody following her arrest on a murder charge.
This follows after the body of a man was found with stab wounds to his body by members of the police in Pacaltsdorp. The police responded to the scene at Isaac Street, Rosedale, at 02:35 this morning 29 December.
“Medical personnel on scene declared the victim (20) deceased,” says Police Spokesperson Sgt. Chris Spies. “An investigation led to the arrest of the woman. She will appear in court once charged.”
Spies says the motive for the killing is yet to be established. They are not at liberty to release the identity of the deceased yet.
