GEORGE NEWS - This year's Wilderness Art Festival on 7, 8 and 9 October was a huge hit. The Wilderness Hotel reports feet through the hotel exceeded the 2020 festival's numbers.
At the time of going to press, Wilderness Art Association chairperson, Carole Durrant, was still waiting for the final sales numbers to come in. "But from what I can gauge, sales should exceed last year's total sales."
Night of 1000 Drawings sales totalled R35 200, with the beneficiary being Seven Passes Initiative. "Thank you to Views Boutique Hotel and Spa for sponsoring this event," said Durrant.
All venues combined brought between 80 and 90 artists from all over South Africa to Wilderness.

Durrant also thanked Wilderness Hotel for being the main host and Wilderness and George Tourism as the corporate sponsor.
"Thank you to all our other sponsors and contributors - too numerous to mention. It was a great community effort! See you next year!"
