GARDEN ROUTE | KAROO NEWS - In the latest weather forecast from SA Weather Service, there is a weather warning for strong wind along the coast.

The weather on Thursday 29 May will be fine and cool, but it will be partly cloudy over the southern parts with isolated rain and showers along the south-west coast as well as the adjacent interior of the Western Cape.  

Damaging winds are expected over the western interior on Thursday and along the south-west coast. 

Damaging waves are also possible along the south coast.

Impact based warnings

1. Yellow level 2 warning for damaging coastal winds leading to difficult in navigation at sea, is expected between Saldanha Bay and Cape Agulhas on Wednesday into Thursday.

2. Yellow level 2 warning for damaging waves leading to difficulty in navigation at sea, is expected between Saldanha Bay and Cape Agulhas on Thursday, spreading to Plettenberg Bay from Friday until Sunday.
