GEORGE NEWS - Pacaltsdorp Police are looking for anyone who can assist in identifying a man who was hit and killed on the N2 earlier today, Monday 17 April.
They have opened a culpable homicide docket following the death of the pedestrian on the N2 near the off-ramp to Pacaltsdorp at about 10:10.
With the police’s arrival they found that the man had sustained multiple injuries. He was declared dead by paramedics on the scene.
The truck was travelling from Cape Town to Gqeberha at the time of the incident. Anyone with information that could assist police to identify the victim is requested to contact the Pacaltsdorp police on 044 803 9100.
