GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - A truck carrying gas bottles has overturned on the N2 in the Hessequa region, just outside Albertinia, in the direction of Riversdale.
The roadway is currently closed to all traffic while emergency response teams work to clear the scene. The driver and passenger did not sustain injuries during the accident.
The scene is being managed by Hessequa Fire and Provincial traffic who are coordinating efforts to safely remove the truck and reopen the road as soon as possible.
Exercise caution when travelling nearby.
