Strong wind along the coast with cold night temperatures expected

GARDEN ROUTE | KAROO NEWS - In the latest weather forecast from the South African Weather Service, very cold conditions with daytime temperatures of 10° C and below, are expected in places over the interior of the Western Cape today into Friday.

Impact-based warnings

A yellow level 2 warning for damaging waves is expected between Saldanha Bay and Plettenberg Bay, resulting in difficulty in navigation at sea, as well as coastal users being swept off rocks until Saturday morning.

Partly cloudy conditions are expected along the coastal areas of South Africa on Friday, with isolated showers and damaging winds and waves possible along the south coast.

Western Cape residents can expect partly cloudy weather in the northeast; otherwise, it will be cloudy and cold with light rain in the southwest, spreading along the south coast by the evening.

In the Eastern Cape, the day will be fine and cool to cold, becoming partly cloudy in the south in the afternoon, but cloudy along the coast with isolated showers and rain.
