GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - Members of the public are invited to a fundraiser in aid of Alzheimer's disease and dementia awareness and to help patients.

The special tea, with entertainment by singer Reni Seabourne, will take place at the Onder die Denne venue in Aalwyndal, outside Mossel Bay, on Saturday, 1 June, at 10:30 for 1100.

Eats

Tickets, costing R120, include the entertainment, as well as tea, coffee and savoury and sweet eats. There will also be a lucky draw.

The speaker will be Hettie Theron of the Association for Dementia and Alzheimer's of South Africa (ADASA).

Contribute

Donations will be welcome and will contribute to Alzheimer's and dementia awareness initiatives.

"Join us for a forget-me-not morning. We look forward to seeing you," say the organisers. The forget-me-not flower is the emblem for Alzheimer's disease and dementia awareness worldwide.
