GEORGE NEWS - George detectives are investigating an attempted house robbery that took place at about 01:30 at a residence at Victoria Bay on Tuesday 1 November.
According to Southern Cape police spokesperson Sgt Chris Spies, it is believed that the victim was at home when he heard a noise and went to investigate.
He noticed two men outside. A shootout ensued and the assailants fled the scene on foot.
“Circumstances surrounding this incident are under investigation. The suspects are still at large,” says Spies.
The investigation officer urges the public come forward with any information that could lead to the arrest of the assailants.
