GEORGE NEWS - Police divers and members of the NSRI are currently busy with a search for a 16-year-old boy from Thembalethu who disappeared under the water at Wilderness Beach on the Eastern side of the lagoon mouth earlier this afternoon, Sunday 27 November.
Exact details surrounding the incident are still unclear. However, according to Southern Cape police spokesperson Lt Col Malcolm Pojie the search commenced after the boy got into trouble in the surf earlier today and disappeared under the water.
According to unconfirmed information, the boy was spending the day on the beach with his family and friends.
