GEORGE NEWS - An interim interdict has been granted on Samwu’s intended strike action for tomorrow, Wednesday 24 May.
George Municipality confirmed this, saying they expect service delivery to continue with no disruptions.
“George Municipality as the employer remains committed to following due process and engaging in discussion with Samwu to resolve their issues,” said municipal spokesperson Chantèl Edwards.
“The municipality remains open on Wednesday 24 May, and municipal service delivery/essential services will continue.”
