GEORGE NEWSFLASH - The electricity is down in the following areas: Industrial, Pacaltsdorp, CBD, Rosedale, Erf 328 and Thembalethu Zone 9.
The outage is caused by copper theft which has damaged equipment.
Technicians are working on fixing the problem but power is not expected to be restored until tomorrow.
