GEORGE NEWS - A handful of people from the area have gathered at a park in Heather Park today for a picnic with a difference.
The informal get-together has brought together members of the transgender community, as well as allies and supporters, for an afternoon of friendship and connection.
Those attending are sharing stories, enjoying lunch together and, judging by the laughter, having a wonderful time.
