GEORGE NEWS - George Municipality Councillor Cecil Noble handed over equipment and funds to seven sport clubs and schools in Pacaltsdorp recently.
Councillors are allocated funds each financial year to support projects, organisations and deserving individuals in their respective wards.
Organisations which benefited from the 2016/17 Ward Based Projects allocation in Cllr Noble’s ward included the local chess club, high school rugby player Matthew Thorne, New Dawn Park Primary School, Young Roses Rugby Club, Pacaltsdorp Primêr, Pacaltsdorp Soccer Club and Delville Park Primêr.
