GEORGE NEWS - George Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit (FCS) investigators arrested a suspect for sexual offences over the past weekend.
The 24-year-old man was arrested in connection with an alleged incident that occurred in Blanco on Friday 13 August.
According to Southern Cape police spokesperson, Sgt Chris Spies, the victim (30) was woken up by a man standing next to her bed. The man allegedly threatened her after which he proceeded to violate her.
Detectives arrested the suspect on a charge of rape the following day.
