GEORGE NEWS - Two men were lucky to escape uninjured from an accident on the N2 highway near Glentana earlier this morning, Saturday 9 November at about 08:30.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
According to information from the scene, the men were travelling from George toward Glentana when the driver of a white Toyota Hilux bakkie allegedly lost control of the vehicle due to a wet road surface.
The vehicle left the road and landed on its roof in the bushes next to the highway.
The provincial traffic department, Metro EMS, local police, CMS Towing and Sanral officials tended to the scene.
