GEORGE NEWS - The graduation ceremony for NMU graduates is taking place at Eden Place in George.
This is the first time in the history of Nelson Mandela University that the top three positions are held by strong influential women.
With chancellor Geraldine Fraser-Moleketi giving the congratulatory speech today, she gives hope that things are changing and with hard work and commitment and sacrifice, all things are possible.
She asked the graduates what they will do with their education - what contribution they will make. “We encourage you to make an active contribution.”
