GEORGE NEWS - A total of nine babies were born in George on New Year's day. George Hospital delivered eight of which six are boys and the first baby was born at 00:46.
Two of the babies were still in the neonatal ward when George Herald visited the hospital.

Mediclinic George delivered one baby who was still in the neonatal ward at the time of George Herald's visit. Baby Callum Louw was born at 09:09 on New Year's day with a weight of 3kgs. Mom Clarice and dad Chad, from Oudtshoorn, can't wait to have their baby in their arms.
