GEORGE NEWS - George Municipality will soon boast with a brand-new motor vehicle and registration (MVR) satellite office with a drive-through service for licence disk renewals - a first in the Western Cape province.
The building is located next to the Blanco Community Hall.
The satellite office will handle bulk MVR services at the inside counters, and at the drive-through service, customers can renew a maximum of two motor vehicle licences at a time.
It is expected that the official opening for the site will be in November.
The satellite office, situated at 9 George Street, will be open weekdays from 08:00 to 15:00 (except Wednesdays, when the office will close at 14:00 due to compulsory training).
Drive-through services

4. A maximum of two licences can be processed per visit, per person.
5. No cash payments will be accepted. Payment is via card only.
