GEORGE NEWS - Salomé Bruyns’ new local animal welfare organisation, Sentiara, will be hosting its first-ever fundraising event at Her Empire at 10:00 on Saturday 26 July, and everyone is invited.
Sentiara is the brainchild of senior inspector Bruyns, a well-known figure in George with over 20 years of experience in animal welfare.
Passionate about education, outreach and promoting responsible pet ownership, Bruyns recently launched Sentiara as a non-profit company to expand her efforts and reach more communities.
Guests attending this special fundraiser can look forward to a heartwarming afternoon with a delicious meal and pudding, along with the chance to meet Stevie Wonder, Sentiara’s blind rescue dog, who has a remarkable story of his own. His journey will be shared with guests as part of the day’s inspiring programme.
“We invite people to be part of the change by supporting a cause that truly matters,” says Bruyns.
All proceeds will support Sentiara’s mission to create a lasting impact through education and proactive animal care initiatives.
