GEORGE NEWS - Thembalethu police are investigating a case of murder after a man was killed in Silvertown, Zone 6 on Sunday 5 September.
According to Thembalethu police communications officer, Capt Dumile Gwavu, it is believed that the victim, Siphosethu Nkenya (38), was playing music on his cellphone while he and the suspect were visiting a shebeen.
The suspect apparently told the victim that he disapproved of his music and a fight ensued.
“The suspect took out a knife and stabbed the victim on his upper body and died on the scene. The suspect ran away from the scene after the incident and is still on the run,” said Gwavu.
