GEORGE NEWS - A motorcyclist on a big scooter, was taken to the hospital after he collided with a car on the N2 highway near the Gwaiing River bridge roadworks.
According to information received from the scene, the car that was involved in the accident left the scene after the collision.
The patient, who sustained injuries to his chest, was taken to the hospital by ER24 Paramedics. The accident happened so quickly that the motorcyclist allegedly couldn't recall what the vehicle looked like.
He was on his way to George Airport, where he works, when the accident happened.
