GEORGE NEWSFLASH - Motorbike riding gear worth approximately R150 000 was stolen during a break-in at Lynn Schroeder Motorrad early on Saturday morning, 23 June.
At around 05:30, three men gained access through a side glass door of the motorbike showroom floor by breaking the glass and forcing open the security gate. They stole various jackets and riding gear.
According to information, the suspects fled the scene in a white Opel before security arrived.
“It seems as if they knew exactly what they were looking for. From the CCTV footage we can see that it took them about 30 seconds from gaining access and taking the stock to getting out effortlessly,” Jason Botha, an employee at Lynn Schroeder, told the George Herald.
No suspects have been arrested in connection with the incident.
