GARDEN ROUTE | KAROO NEWS - The South African Weather Service (Saws) has released its latest weather forecast for today, Wednesday 7 May.
Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the northern part of Dr. Beyers Naudé Local Municipality in the Eastern Cape, otherwise you can expect fine and warm weather across the country.

Western Cape:
Western Cape residents can expect morning fog patches along the coast and adjacent interior where it will be cool, otherwise conditions will be fine and warm. It will become partly cloudy along the south coast from the afternoon.
The wind along the coast will be light to moderate southeasterly but south-westerly along the south coast. The expected UVB sunburn index: Moderate
Eastern Cape (western half):
There will be morning fog along the coast and adjacent interior, otherwise conditions will be fine and cool, but warm over the interior. It will become partly cloudy to cloudy along the coast from the afternoon, spreading to the escarpment in the evening.
The wind along the coast will be Light to moderate westerly to south-westerly
Eastern Cape (eastern half):
The day will start with morning mist along the coast and adjacent interior, otherwise it will be fine and cool, but warm over the interior. It will become partly cloudy to cloudy along the coast from the afternoon, spreading to the escarpment in the evening.
