GEORGE NEWS - The Garden Route SPCA (GRSPCA) was delighted to have additional dog walkers doing their 67 minutes on Mandela Day and spending time with the animals in their care.
However, the star of the show was Maya.
"Maya is the most beautiful and good-natured rottweiler cross that we know. She is about three years old and very well behaved. She loves children and hugs. She is gentle and patient," said the GRPSCA's Amber du Preez.
For some inexplicable reason, Maya has been waiting for her forever home for quite a while.
