GEORGE NEWS - A Nigerian man, Louis Emenzo (30) and local woman, Nicolene Manuel (35), who were arrested in January for dealing in drugs, briefly appeared in the Thembalethu Magistrate's Court on Wednesday 4 April.
Emenzo and Manuel were arrested after the Outeniqua K9 unit obtained a search warrant for a house in Zone 6.
They confiscated 2 595 Mandrax tablets, two drug scales and 470g of Tik. The street value of these goods totalled R294 250.
They were released on bail of R20 000 each shortly after the arrest. Both will appear in court on 6 July.
