GEORGE NEWS - A 40-year-old man was killed at the municipal refuse site yesterday, Thursday 19 October.
According to provincial police spokesperson Lt Col Malcolm Pojie, it is believed that the man was offloading refuse from a truck when another truck with building rubble reversed and drove over him.
The victim sustained multiple injuries and was declared dead by medical personnel on the scene.
The police opened a culpable homicide case for further investigation.
