As the only market of its kind in South Africa held within a historical transport museum, The Market @ Transnet Transport Museum offers a one-of-a-kind experience.
Organiser Pieter du Plessis says this is more than just a Christmas market, it’s a celebration of craftsmanship, culture and community that combines the best of a craft market, food and wine court and entertainment - an unmissable experience for locals and travelers alike.
And in the spirit of giving, the market organisers will donate a portion of the proceeds to SA for Hope, a drought and humanitarian relief organisation supporting farmers, farm workers and farming communities impacted by severe drought across South Africa.
Guests can expect:
- over 100 stalls offering an impressive array of crafts, handmade goods, and artisanal treasures.
- a food, wine, and beer court showcasing the region’s finest products
- live entertainment and a big screen for endless family fun and enjoyment
