GEORGE NEWS - The Garden Route Botanical Garden is the place to be on the weekend of 24 and 25 October.
A car boot sale on Saturday 24 October is just the event where you can either get rid of your unwanted household articles, or buy someone else’s that you do want!
The gates open at 10:00 and the sale goes on till 14:00. Entry to the gardens that day is free of charge, but a R50 fee is charged if you want to sell things from your car boot. On Sunday 25 October it is time for a picnic with live music. The Carpe Musicam! orchestra will give a concert at 15:00.
Entrance is R50 per adult and scholars enter for free.
Bring your own chairs and refreshments and experience the ambience of the garden while you enjoy the orchestra’s upbeat performance.
