GEORGE NEWS - The Rocky Horror Tribute Show is making a comeback this week with its opening night on Thursday 31 October. Fans of this off-beat theatre production - some who supported it last year, others who didn't get a chance to experience the thrill - requested another round of entertainment at the George Arts Theatre.
There is an age restriction of 16 years for this show.
There are four shows in total: 31 October to 1 November (19:00); 2 November (14:00) and an evening show (21:00). Block bookings are also available.
The "Naughty Nine o'clock Show" on Saturday 2 November is an ode to the die-hard fans of the original story. Patrons will receive special treats and their tickets will include the opportunity to meet the characters afterwards.
Quick recap
The tribute show follows the adventure of newly engaged couple Brad Majors and Janet Weiss, who embark on a road trip to visit their professor, Dr Everett Scott, to tell him of their engagement.
Upon their journey, they're stranded on the road and seek refuge at a castle, but what they find there will impact their lives forever: Join Riff Raff, Magenta, Colombia and the ever flamboyant Dr Frankfurter as they dabble in human science of a different nature.
Rocky Horror fans are encouraged to come dressed as their favourite characters for a night of fun, mystery and absolutely marvellous entertainment.
Bookings can be made on Computicket or at the Arts Theatre on 064 881 8392.
