GEORGE NEWS - Animal lovers and fitness fans, get ready to hit the trail for a purr-fectly good cause!

Vetcare Animal Clinic invites the community to join The Cat Walk, a 5km fun run in support of feline welfare, taking place at the stunning Garden Route Botanical Garden on Saturday 6 September.

This family-friendly event promises fun, fresh air, and furry friends. Leashed and well-socialised pets are warmly welcomed to take part in the scenic run (or walk) alongside their humans.

This year’s event promises even more excitement as the community comes together to support Cat Assistance Team (CAT), an organisation dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming cats in need.

Entry is only R50 per person, with registration starting at 13:00 at the gate. The 5km fun run is designed for all ages and fitness levels - whether you're running, walking, or trotting alongside your four-legged companion.

There will be loads of lucky draws and a variety of stalls to visit as well.
