Update
GEORGE NEWS - The protest march from Thembalethu is moving down Nelson Mandela Boulevard to York Street.
They are now in the vicinity of the Engen Garage and slowly moving towards the Civic Centre where they will hand over a memorandum.
So far, no violence or disruptions have been reported.
Police and traffic officials are monitoring the situation.
The intersection at Nelson Mandela Boulevard and York Street, towards the industrial area, is closed.
Traffic in York Street in both directions travelling normally.
