GEORGE NEWS - The man who was arrested on suspicion of his wife's murder in Thembalethu, George on Monday 30 November will appear in the George Magistrate's Court for his formal bail application on 14 December.
Makhosi Ngangalaza (42) was arrested at his home in Teyise Street shortly after his wife's body was found on the bathroom floor.
The deceased, Sinovuyo Ngangalaza (27), had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was declared dead by paramedics on arrival.
He was arrested at the scene and made his first court appearance on Wednesday 2 December.
"Our members were dispatched to the deceased's house in Teyise Street on Monday 30 November at approximately 17:05 after a complaint of assault was received," said Southern Cape police spokesperson, Capt Malcolm Pojie. "On arrival the victim's husband was found in the front yard with a firearm which was confiscated as evidence."
He remains in custody until his next court appearance.
