MOSSELBAAI NUUS - Dr Paul Rüschenbaum, sedert April 2016 hoof van die Mosselbaai-provinsiale hospitaal en aan die stuur van sake by primêre gesondheidsorg in die distrik, is vroeer vandag onverwags oorlede.
Die departement van gesondheid het by navraag gese dat hulle môre meer besonderhede sal bekend maak.

MESSAGE FROM THE EXECUTIVE MAYOR, ALDERMAN HARRY LEVENDAL -
I am shocked to have learnt of the unexpected passing of Dr Paul Rüschenbaum, head of the Mossel Bay Provincial Hospital and of primary health care in the district since April 2016.
He obtained both his clinical and business qualifications at the University of Stellenbosch, and at the same time met his spouse, Dr Helmie Pretorius in the same class. Besides his spouse, he leaves three children; two sons and a daughter.
Dr Rüschenbaum has made an indelible impression since he settled in Mossel Bay from Oudtshoorn and has played a huge role in the latest developments in
dealing with the COVID-19 coronavirus in our area.
I extend my deepest sympathy to the
Rüschenbaum family, next of kin, colleagues
and friends during this difficult time.
May God's comforting grace bring comfort.
