GEORGE NEWS - A horse was killed when it was hit by a Volkswagen Combi on the N2 near the Pacaltsdorp bridge this morning, Friday 6 August.
Initial information indicates that no person was seriously injured during the accident.
According to an eyewitness who drove past the scene at approximately 07:00 this morning, the vehicle was travelling in the direction of Mossel Bay when it hit the animal.
The owner of the animal has yet to come forward.
