GEORGE NEWS - Systems at the Home Affairs office in George have been offline since Monday 17 July, frustrating clients who are trying to get their personal documents in order.
Today, Tuesday 18 July, Tersia Cooper complained to George Herald that her daughter has been standing in the queue for the second day, and it is uncertain when the office will be online again.
Responding to a query from the newspaper, Dr Mosiuoa Ngaka, Home Affairs district manager of operations, said they are dependent on the State Information Technology Agency (Sita) and cannot confirm when they will be back online.
